A Touch of Glass
 
On January 1, 2008, all bars and restaurants in Chicago became officially smoke free. In an effort to utilize hundreds of useless ashtrays and raise money for a local charity, chef/owner Susan Goss of West Town Tavern and The Architrouve gallery collected ashtrays from West Town bars and restaurants to be used in an innovative art exhibition, "Ashtrays to Art."

The Glenwood Avenue Arts Fest (GAAF) is a free, weekend-long event that features artists, open studios and live entertainment on three outdoor stages.  Experience art, theater, music, as well as food and drink, on the cobblestone streets of the Glenwood Avenue Arts District in Chicago’s historic Rogers Park neighborhood.
